Vietnam Photo Diary

At the beginning of this year I was lucky enough to explore Vietnam for the first time. From the moment we left the airport and I got my first glimpse of this incredible country, I just knew I was going to LOVE it. And oh how I did, so so much.

We travelled from Hanoi down to Saigon, exploring Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An and Da Nang along the way.

So now let me share with you Vietnam through my eyes!

1. First meal in Vietnam was in Hanoi and of course was PHO – restaurant PHO 10
2. Hanoi Streets

3. I love watching the hustle and bustle of a city from above.
4. Halong Bay – Tip Top Island look out (400 stairs later)
5. Boat Ride through Cat Ba Bay
6. Hue
7. Citadel – Hue
8. Khai Ding Tomb – Hue
9. Hai Van Pass
10. Elephant Springs
11. Hoi An
12. Laterns in Hoi An
13. Cooking Class – Hoi An
15. Da Nang

16. Marble Mountain
17. Lady Buddha
18. Sunsets in Saigon
19. Notre Dame – Saigon
20. Saigon Streets

So there it is, some of my favourite pictures from my adventure through the incredible country of Vietnam.

A more in depth Vietnam blog series will follow shortly with much more detail of the places I visisted.

  1. Thank you for this article! These days I’m obsessed with Vietnam and I’d love to visit it!
Is it easy to move around the country if you don’t rent a car? how did you get by? Did you travel by bus? or by train?
Thanks again for making me travel with you! 😀
